Switch-a-Roo is a concept for a mobile application that enables parents to start letting go of their children’s no-longer-used items. Users can choose to swap goods with other users, or, they may also donate to families in need.
Digital Wireframes
After some initial sketches, wireframe concepts were developed digitally in order to provide the basic structure and design of the application, while simultaneously showcasing all of the screens that the application would require.
User Testing & Feedback Sessions
Paper prototypes were used during user testing sessions to ensure that the proposed design elements were effectively working at the most basic level. The testing sessions provided valuable feedback which helped refine the user experience.
Typography & Color Palette
A playful, yet contemporary combination of typefaces was utilized across the application, to emphasize the good-natured objectives of the application.
A palette based on softened primary colors was selected in order to provide the application with a youthful and lighthearted look and feel that resonates with the target demographic.
